Anthony Miller – Producer (Los Angeles office) (click to view on IMDb)
Filmmaking came early in the life of Anthony Miller who, at the age of 17, had already compiled an impressive list of top awards from national film festivals and societies for outstanding filmmaking. Upon graduating with a degree from the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television, Anthony began his career as a professional filmmaker.
With employment tenures at Soisson Murphey Productions (Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Nightmare on Elm Street) and Overseas Filmgroup in Los Angeles, Anthony began working his way up and settling in as a Producer.
Anthony’s first feature film, “Flipping”, starring Keith David and David Proval, was purchased and distributed domestically in theaters in the fall of 1997. While earning recognition from Daily Variety, the film had continued life through foreign ancillary markets and domestic media releases.
Teaming up with Director, Scott Storm, Anthony’s second feature film, “Burn”, was a Slamdance Film Festival official selection and Jury Award Winner. Director Bryan Singer (The Usual Suspects, X-Men) and musician Adam Duritz (Counting Crows) both served as Executive Producers. The film enjoyed a global film festival run resulting in numerous awards along the way. A possible distribution release is still being discussed by the team.
Upon the completion of other produced shows and content for NBC, The Walt Disney Company and Digital Entertainment, Electronic Arts Los Angeles tapped Anthony as one of several producers to develop and produce their flagship video game franchise, Medal of Honor, from creator Steven Spielberg. He spent the following six years at EALA producing content for the award winning game.
Further, in conjunction with his career as a producer, Anthony has produced content of another kind as well, this time in the visual effects industry. What initially started out as a fascination has turned into an adjoining career path fusing both business and creative realms together. As a result, Anthony has served as a visual effects artist on multiple projects including “Clash of the Titans”, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1” and “Cats and Dogs” all from Warner Brothers Entertainment.

David Scott Hay- Writer/ Producer (Chicago office)
David is an award-winning Chicago playwright and screenwriter. He has been hailed by the Chicago Sun-Times as a new generation Albee-Mamet-Shepard. (hailed is a strong word, but it was a very nice review of one of my plays.)
His screenplay adaptation of his play HARD SCRAMBLED won Creative Screenwriting Magazine's New Visions Filmmaking Fellowship enabling him to direct the feature film starring Kurtwood Smith (That 70s Show, ROBOCOP). (this is true and if you're a ROBOCOP fan, I had an out of body experience listening to the "bitches leave" story. you can get your copy of HARD SCRAMBLED on Amazon.com.
The film premiered at Cinequest San Jose Film Festival (2006) and went on to win Best Dramatic Feature at the Garden State Film Festival.
His follow-up screenplay, AWOL BLUES aka HARP, placed in the Nicholl Fellowship and BlueCat quarterfinals. He co-authored the Civil Rights play THE MARKER with David Barr III and Glen Jeffers, and has also c0-adapted with David Barr III his Civil Rights play THE FACE OF EMMETT TILL for the screen. Academy award-winning director James Moll is currently attached to direct. Other movie projects in development include STAR, and STRAIGHT RAZOR JAZZ, which was a Top Ten Finalist and Top 35 Finalist out of 4,000+ scripts in both Final Draft Big Break and Scriptapalooza screenplay contests.
Critically acclaimed plays include HARD SCRAMBLED, CELESTE, [THE] VIOLENT SEX, and KILLING LUCIFER, which is also being adapted for the screen. (I don't sleep.)
David was also the co-founder and Literary Director for the Chicago theatre company Visions & Voices where he co-produced the break-out hits ACCIDENTAL RAPTURE and VINTAGE RED & THE DUST OF THE ROAD. (yes, indeed. amazing scripts, amazing productions.)
He's twice served as a Playwright in Residence at the world renowned William Inge Center for the Arts, and is an annual guest lecturer at the Newberry Library (except this year, durn it). Currently, he is a Resident Playwright at the Warrior Arts Studio. (an amazing and transformative project. support our vets.)
