2016 Love International film festival July 8th -16th los Angeles, CA
This year, Firerock Bay Pictures was a proud sponsor of the Love International Film Festival with all proceeds benefiting the Lotus Light Children's Charity. The tireless work of all members of the festival committee and our volunteers led to an extremely successful festival where we honored a number of people including First Lady Michelle Obama and First Lady Laura Bush with Every Kid in a Park. We are proud to say we received hundreds of film submissions from around the world.
Festival Mission Statement
LIFF is an ongoing opportunity to acknowledge and reward those films and filmmakers around the world who are capturing images that educate, guide, inform and entertain us.
Currently our world is one where chaos challenges every nation and every individual equally. Fear of violence, hatred, persecution, radical ideology, and financial uncertainty follow all of us. We stand divided in belief and nationalities, even within our own countries. This is a world that often seems bereft of hope or of a unifying vision. It is the festival's goal to turn the world’s eye to the beauty that exists for all of us.
LIFF's hope is that we'll all play a part in art and creativity returning to everyone. It is the message of the festival, that through the power of creative energy and the efforts of filmmakers and artists alike, the world can become a unified place. Film and its use of images and story are a powerful medium for change.
Film breaks down the barriers of nationality. Even a film made in the smallest of regions can expand into larger ones, just as large productions go to those places to capture their uniqueness, creating a reality where people from around the world work together to create films that promote cultural harmony.

Every Kid in a Park
In the fall of 2015 President Barack Obama created Every Kid in a Park so fourth graders and their families could discover our wildlife, resources, and history for free. This year the Love Int. Film Festival honored First Lady Michelle Obama and First Lady Laura Bush as 2016 Ambassadors of Love and Peace. “Because no matter who you are, no matter where you live, our parks, our monuments, our lands, our waters — these places are your birthright as Americans” PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA |
